I am a mixed-media artist living in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

I enjoy combining my love of textiles and plant materials with my passion for ceramics. I often incorporate things I have grown or found into my sculptural forms. These additional materials may be grasses and reeds in the form of basketry or rocks and sand giving texture to a clay body. Sometimes the additions are simply treasures that I have collected while walking or traveling and I use them to add to the story of the work.

My domestic ware aims for comfort and pleasure of use while simultaneously celebrating the individuality of being handmade.

Currently I have stopped teaching in my studio and I am focused on wood fired ceramics.

I bisque fire my work in my Rohde electric kiln and glaze fire in my bourry box wood kiln which I built in 2021. You can read more about my studio activity on my website.
