About

Neridah trained at the National Art School in Sydney graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (painting major) in 2001.  She is a multidisciplinary artist; painting, ceramics and printmaking and is interested in the tension between working across 2d and 3d forms.  She has exhibited in many selected art prizes including the Gurguis New Art Prize, Adelaide Perry for Drawing Prize, Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award, the Women’s Art Prize Tasmania and the Alice Prize.  Her work is held in numerous collections including: Macquarie Bank, Artbank, Newcastle Art Gallery, Charles Darwin University and The Australia Club. In 2014 the Charles Darwin University Art Gallery curated Neridah Stockley: A retrospective and in 2020 the University Gallery at Newcastle University curated Neridah Stockley: A Secular View which toured nationally. 

Neridah lives in Lutruwita (Tasmania) and is represented by Bett Gallery and Michael Reid Clay/Southern Highlands.
