I am under the influence of the culture I am come from Persian in which poetry is the ruler of the realm of the art and influences me deeply too. All the other kind of art in that land, from expressive carpets to mirror works in the shrines of the saints, are reflecting this influence. Even Persian paintings, miniatures, in their perfect design and independent existence, always accompany pieces of poetry. I am not illustrating any actual piece of poetry, but I try to make my own poetic verses by the language of the forms and surface design. On the other hand, I admire the brave European tradition of artistic expression and freedom of thought. I cannot deny the influence of great artists like Max Beckman, Chagall, Picasso and Matisse in my art works. This influence has helped me to develop my own poetic expression of the world around me.
