The Redcliffe Pottery Group was established in 1979 and remains the only pottery club on the Redcliffe Peninsula now exceeding 100 in membership. It is a hub where beginners and experienced potters alike can meet, share skills, create, and fire their works.

We occupy a part of the heritage-listed Old Redcliffe Fire Station with all the mod cons provided. It has purpose-built studios, kiln rooms with 3 electrical kilns, wheel room, clay shed, a slab roller, an extruder and well-stocked library among other thought-after facilities.

Membership is currently $40 per year. 6-week beginner’s classes in handbuilding and wheelthrowing are offered on Wendesdays and Saturdays; and are held 4 times per year.

The club is open for members on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 3pm; and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm. We do open for the rest of a week upon request.
