I am an Australian practising artist, living in the Sutherland Shire. I was introduced to ceramics as part of a part-time Art Certificate Course (Liverpool Tech College in 1979). I have been involved in a number of exhibitions over many years. Since retiring from paid work I have been able to dedicate most of my time to art and continue to upgrade my skills by attending classes. I achieved a Diploma and Advanced Diploma from TAFE in Ceramics, as well as several Certificates in Fine Art, and I have also studied oil painting and Chinese brush painting. I work in several mediums, including watercolour, oil painting, pastels, pencil, charcoal, sculpture and ceramics. My inspiration generally comes from our local environment. My proximity to the Royal National Park provides much inspiration for my designs.
